- We are looking to hire a sales representative professional with an extensive network of customers in the FMCG space.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s growth.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects through targeted distribution channels.
- Establishing pricing strategies
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
- Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
- Collect and analyse information and prepare data and sales reports.
Required Technical Skills / Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or any relevant discipline
- At least 2 years verifiable work experience in sales and marketing within a similar role in the FMCG industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of markets in Abuja and environs
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft application tool- MS word, MS excel and power point.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to pivot with changing priorities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to explain complex information succinctly and effectively.
- Highest degree of integrity and professionalism required.
