Responsibilities

RFQ Coordination and Service Delivery:



  • Receive and review RFQs for both products and services (e.g., installations, maintenance).

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather necessary information for accurate quotes.

  • Prepare and send timely quotations, considering costeffectiveness, quality, and other requirements.

  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and client expectations.


Supplier Sourcing and Negotiation:



  • Identify potential suppliers for both goods and services.

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.

  • Maintain positive relationships with existing vendors and explore new partnerships.

  • Secure more representation and authorization as partners with relevant OEMs


Purchase Order Management and Project Oversight:



  • Create purchase orders (POs) for approved requisitions.

  • Ensure POs align with procurement guidelines and supplier invoice submissions (quantity, unit price etc)

  • Coordinate project implementation, including installations, maintenance, and other services. o Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and track milestones.


Client Relationship Management:



  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during procurement and project phases.

  • Understand client needs, communicate effectively, and address any concerns promptly.

  • Foster longterm relationships to enhance client satisfaction and repeat business.


Technical Knowledge and Continuous Learning:



  • Stay updated on industry trends, technical terminology, and best practices.

  • Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and knowledge enhancement.


Documentation and Evidence:



  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and project plans.

  • Enable auditability by organizing records systematically.


Qualifications



  • Must have a B.Eng / HND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

  • Proven experience (5-7yrs) in technical procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.

  • Strong understanding of technical specifications and requirements for procured goods and services.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

  • Proficiency with the use of MS suit, specifically Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS) is a plus.
