Role Description

• This is a full-time Early Years Teacher role located at Brighthouse Academy in Lokoja. The Early Years Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing an engaging and stimulating curriculum and creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that helps children to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.


• The Early Years Teacher will work collaboratively with other teachers, parents, and administration to provide the best education to the pupils.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field


• Alternatively, a degree in other fields with PGD in education


• Or, National Certificate in Education (NCE) qualification with a minimum 3 years of experience


• At least two (2) years' experience as an Early Years Teacher


• TRCN certification will be an added advantage


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills


• Thorough knowledge of early childhood development theories, practices, and techniques


• Ability to create effective learning environments focused on play-based learning


• Must be able to multitask and think creatively


• Experience in developing eLearning resources.


• At least basic experience with computing devices – computers, scanner, printers etc.

Salary

N70,000 / month.
