This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Support Professional.
The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The day-to-day tasks include providing personal care, developing and implementing individualized care plans, organizing recreational activities, and supporting individuals in daily living activities.
The role requires strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with team members and individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
Experience or education in Human Services
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of intellectual disabilities
Experience or training in providing care and support
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Relevant certifications or qualifications in caregiving or support services
