Global Profilers is a Recruitment & HR Services firm specializing in recruitment in Africa; we are currently looking for a Generator Supervisor for our client; an agricultural company in Ibadan, Oyo State

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Generator Maintenance Supervisor who will provide technical expertise in the areas of start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diesel generators.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains a proactive relationship with the Client and understands their business requirements


• Develops detailed cost estimates for routine and non-routine work


• Supervises, directs, monitors and schedules day-to-day and long-range activities for generator technicians under their supervision


• Provides technical expertise and guidance to the employees under their supervision and manages resolution of complex problems


• Ensures employees under their supervision are properly following processes and procedures


• Develops process performance metrics, tracking, analyzing and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, and cost and customer satisfaction.


• Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards


• Resolves problems and/or conflicts and maintains open communication with the client including providing regular written and oral reports to ensure satisfaction


• Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards

Qualification

• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently


• Industry certification or degree in engineering


• Minimum of 6 - 10 years’ experience as a generator technician


• Must have experience with diesel generator operations and maintenance


• Supervisory experience in a similar role


• Superior communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive work environment is critical to this role
