Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Maintenance Supervisor who will provide technical expertise in the areas of installing, maintaining, repairing and overhauling residential central air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and combined heating, ventilation and cooling systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains a proactive relationship with the Client and understands their business requirements


• Develops detailed cost estimates for routine and non-routine work


• Supervises, directs, monitors and schedules day-to-day and long-range activities for refrigerator technicians under their supervision


• Provides technical expertise and guidance to the employees under their supervision and manages resolution of complex problems


• Ensures employees under their supervision are properly following processes and procedures


• Develops process performance metrics, tracking, analyzing and reporting performance in terms of quality, safety, and cost and customer satisfaction.


• Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards


• Resolves problems and/or conflicts and maintains open communication with the client including providing regular written and oral reports to ensure satisfaction


• Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.

Qualifications

• HND / BSc in related field


• 5 years experience as a refrigeration Supervisor


• HVAC certification.


• Braising and soldering skills.


• Knowledge of local building codes.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.


• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.


• Good communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.


• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
