• Are you a person with a solid history in journalism and editing seeking a part-time position where you can contribute to the development and shaping of a publication? We are looking for an Editorial Team Lead to join our expanding team and help with our ongoing creative project. As the head of a group of gifted writers, editors, and contributors, you will be important in creating our content strategy.


• Principal Duty Editorial Leadership: Act as aleader and manager, offering direction and cultivating a cooperative and imaginative work atmosphere.


• Content Strategy: Take part in the formulation and implementation of our content strategy.


• Content Creation: Write excellent, captivating, and thoroughly researched articles and as well as features for the Kemi Filani News.


• Editing: Make sure the text complies with our editorial requirements by proofreading and editing it for accuracy, clarity, punctuation, and style.


• Cooperation: Work together with the design and creative teams to make sure that the content is presented clearly and in keeping with our goals.


• Content Calendar: Help oversee the editorial schedule to make sure that material is current and pertinent.


• Engagement of the Audience: Track reader preferences and feedback to enhance and improve content.


• Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the hiring and orientation of new team members.

Requirements

• Strong experience in communications, journalism, English, or a similar sector.


• Editing experience in entertainment with contacts of A-list Artists.


• Have a background knowledge of Wordpress.


• Strong editing and writing abilities.


• Adept in meeting deadlines with precision.


• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Capacity to contribute original and imaginative ideas to the group.
