Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement market-penetrating sales strategies tailored for Institutions, High Net Worth Individuals, and Retail Investors to drive business growth and market share.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including prospects, clients, and industry partners, to foster trust and credibility.

  • Develop tailored investment solutions and pitch presentations to address clients' needs and objectives.

  • Continually explore and open new sales channels to expand the firm's reach and customer base.

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

  •  

  • Accompany the sales team on visits to key and potential clients as needed, fostering strong relationships and addressing client needs effectively.

  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, differentiate our firm in the market, and generate inbound leads.

  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and advertising campaigns to effectively communicate our value proposition and investment offerings.

  • Leverage market insights and competitive analysis to refine marketing messaging and positioning strategies.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize sales and marketing efforts.

  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to drive results.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop product offerings, pricing strategies, and client servicing processes that meet market demand and drive client satisfaction.

  • Drive and motivate the sales and marketing teams to achieve aggressive sales targets, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and results to the CEO, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


Requirements


Required Qualifications/Skills



  • Bachelor's degree (minimum 2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) in a Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in marketing Investment Products in Nigeria.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Asset Management Industry in Nigeria and products offered.

  • Sound knowledge of Nigerian capital and money markets.

  • Preferably registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a sponsored individual.

  • Evidence of a diverse network of clients within the Nigerian financial industry.

  • Experience in digital marketing for a fintech company is desirable.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for creating compelling presentations and documents.

  • Proven track record of success in leadership roles within the asset management or financial services industry.

  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements, with a strong track record of driving business growth and profitability.

  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive results in a dynamic and competitive environment.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate trends, assess risks, and capitalise on opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to fluently articulate the value-add of our products to current and potential clients.
