Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategic roadmaps that align with the firm's objectives.

  • Lead the identification of target market segments and develop appropriate investment management products for growth.

  • Establish effective organisational structures and build high-performing business teams to maximise productivity, innovation, and collaboration.

  • Participate in the hiring process to ensure the recruitment of top talent aligned with the company's culture and strategic objectives.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other key partners, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering trust and credibility.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

  • Define appropriate performance metrics to assess and optimise business performance.

  • Participate in other Executive Management Committees to contribute to cross-functional decision-making and alignment.

  • Facilitate and present periodic business performance review reports to the Board, providing insights into key metrics, challenges, and opportunities for strategic growth.

  • Oversee the financial performance of the company, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost management, and ensure adherence to budgetary targets and financial KPIs.

  • Lead capital allocation decisions, investment strategies, and risk management initiatives to optimize shareholder value and mitigate business risks.

  • Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to the board of directors and stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics, market trends, and strategic implications.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, maintaining the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to establish effective governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities, shareholders, and other stakeholders, demonstrating transparency and accountability in all business operations.


Requirements



  • BSc or BA with a minimum of Second-Class Honours (Upper Division).

  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, MBA, CIS, CFA, CFP, CIPM, or related field is advantageous.

  • Preferably registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a sponsored individual.

  • Minimum of 15 years of diverse experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Investment Management or Investment Banking.

  • Thorough understanding of the Nigerian Capital Markets and proficiency in SEC rules and regulations.

  • Experience in Fintech, particularly in a digital marketing capacity, is preferred.

  • Strong capabilities in product development and portfolio management.

  • Exceptional skills in customer relationship development and management.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within teams and motivate others.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation abilities.
