Responsibilities
CONTROL VALVES
- Dismantling from position and installing at position
- Check for friction sticking, flashing, cavitation, choked flow, acoustic noise, erosion, and chemical corrosion in the Workshop.
- Remove all electrical and pneumatic connections to the control valve including positioner.
- Dismantle the control valve body, bonnet top flange along with actuator yoke.
- Inspect the valve internals and service the valve.
- DCI Reports issuing
- Replace the damaged parts with OEM spares.
- Install all electrical and pneumatic connections to the control valve including positioner.
- Test functionality of the system.
- Final Reports issuing
- Handover to client
PSV
Inspection and Visual Examination:
- Inspect the PSV for signs of damage, corrosion, or wear.
- Check for proper labelling and documentation, including the PSV's set pressure.
Functional Testing:
- Perform functional tests to ensure the PSV opens at the correct set pressure using a test bench or a controlled system.
- Verify that the PSV fully opens and closes without sticking or chattering.
Overhaul and Repair:
- Disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting internal components.
- DCI reports issuing
- Replace worn or damaged parts as needed, including seals, springs, and discs with OEM parts
Calibration and Adjustment:
- Calibrate the PSV to ensure it opens at the specified set pressure. Adjust if necessary.
- Ensure that the PSV remains within its allowable tolerance range.
- Final Reports issuing
