Job Description:

Mitiget is seeking a talented and experienced Network Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of hands-on experience in network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, optimization, and security of our clients' network infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network infrastructure solutions based on client requirements.


• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices for optimal performance.


• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for optimization.


• Implement and maintain network security protocols, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.


• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support for network-related issues, resolving them in a timely manner.


• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex network problems and implement solutions.


• Conduct regular network assessments and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.


• Generate reports on network performance, security incidents, and recommended enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


• Familiarity with Cybersecurity 


• 2 to 5 years of experience in network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.


• Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.


• Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.


• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark, SNMP, etc.


• Familiarity with network security principles and protocols (e.g., VPN, Firewall, IDS/IPS).


• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve network issues promptly.


• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.


• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
