Responsibilities

• Ordering of fuel: Determine re-order levels and make requisition for top ups; and to also take delivery of fuel supplied following laid down procedures.


• Dispensing of fuel: Issuing of fuel to Marine Boat & Equipments


• Safety Procedures: To ensure all necessary laid down safety procedures in all fuel dumps are adhered to especially during fuel deliveries


• Record keeping: To ensure accurate and proper record of fuel received and dispensed are kept in the appropriate record file


• Ensure that all fuel pumping equipment is operating properly and schedule preventative maintenance; and work closely with equipment vendors to ensure all fueling system problems are corrected timely


• Managing of Fuel Operations with the development of policies and procedures.


• Prepare reports on operations and activities in a concise, clear, and objective format.


• Assist in the design and development of new fuel and upgrades to existing facilities.


• Management of programme and ferry schedule services; assign duties to ferry drivers ensuring timely services, issuing fuel, recording log-books and maintenance and repair of marine craft


• Maintenance of accurate stores records and accounts through sound audit and stock-take procedures


• Maintenance of marine equipment’s’ inventory

Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND or its equivalent


• Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft suite

Experience:

• 
  

  Two (3) years progressively responsible experience in fuel management/supervisory
