Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Nurse to join her team in an international school. Our school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds, and we take pride in offering top-quality education.


• As the School Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students, promoting a positive and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff members


• Assess and manage the health needs of students, including administering medications and treatments


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all students


• Develop and implement health programs and initiatives to promote healthy habits and prevent diseases


• Educate students and staff members on health-related topics, including proper hygiene and nutrition


• Collaborate with teachers and parents to address individual student health concerns and develop healthcare plans


• Coordinate with external healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for students with chronic illnesses or disabilities

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution


• Valid Registered Nurse license


• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a School Nurse or in a similar role

Requirements:

• Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent healthcare practices and procedures


• Familiarity with relevant medical laws and regulations


• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to perform basic medical procedures and administer medications


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals, including students, parents, and healthcare professionals


• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively


• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.


• Abilty to meet assign tasks, established goals and objectives.

• Good general health, clean in attire and professional in appearance.
