  • We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Event Centre Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in event management and a passion for delivering outstanding events and customer service.


Responsibilities



  • Manage all aspects of event centre operations, including event planning, coordination, and execution.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and event staff, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the event planning process.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to enhance the reputation and profitability of the event centre.

  • Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, equipment rentals, and catering services, to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Oversee event setup, teardown, and cleanup to maintain the venue's high standards and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Monitor event budgets, expenses, and revenues, and implement cost-saving measures as needed to maximize profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards governing event operations.

  • Supervise event centre staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure a high-performing team.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in event management, preferably in a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and staff.

  • Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and guest experiences.

  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as event planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Candidates must reside along Ogudu or nearby areas.
