DUTIES:

•  Assist in operating mechanical planters and data collection from trials.


• Assist in determining the level of nutrients in soil, analyze soil composition, fertility and structure.


• Assist in testing and studying land to assess viability for special usage.


• Assist in operating scientific instrument such as PH meters, seed counters etc.


• Assist in setting up laboratory and field equipment required for testing and conduct experiments to improve the quality and yield of plants.


• Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.

QUALIFICATION:                        

• National Diploma in Agriculture or related field with a minimum of two (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

 COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills.


• Have ability to diagnose problems with scientific equipment’s.
