The job holder will be responsible for the generation of credits/loans for diversified clients, monitoring the credit facilities until it is fully liquidated and maintaining professional customer service.
The role requires an understanding of credits and good attention to detail in order to identify and mitigate potential risk elements in each loan application.
Ultimately, the staff will be required to ensure that his/her area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership to assigned team members.
Generate loan assets to achieve the team’s monthly disbursement target.
Ensure timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline deals and report the same on a weekly basis.
Craft and continuously fine-tune our product management process. Develop new products, generating new business opportunities, by performing market research to identify customer needs/trends and opportunities
Ensure compliance with KYC documentation in account opening and transaction documentation in line with the defined operations policy.
Provide input to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles.
Know, interact and participate in SME seminars and campaigns; in order to ensure an understanding of customers’ needs and rightly position Orange One in the minds of these key customer groups
Work closely with internal Communications Department to design marketing materials such as brochures, fliers, videos and blog posts.
Arrange and supervise the effective distribution of marketing materials
Organize customer engagement forums on topical issues.
Ensure prompt attention to clients’ requests and maintain professional relations with all customers.
Review loan requests, collate and review all relevant supporting documents and prepare facility approval memos
Monitor the portfolio repayment schedule and ensure reminder emails are sent at least one week before the repayment date.
Ensure all security instruments are received from customers and deposited with Customer Service or Legal as may be applicable.
On a weekly basis, request for cheques to be logged and follow up on repayments, to ensure payments are remitted as at when due.
Ensure prompt attention to clients’ requests and maintain a professional relationship with all customers.
Ensure customer files and databases are updated with all relevant correspondence.
Qualifications
B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Business Admin, Finance
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a relatable field at the most(at least 1 year in a Finance Company)
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Good online marketing skills
Excellent Leadership skills
Strong project management skills:
Should be able to work in an agile environment and must be tech-savvy
Excellent presentation skills and familiar with Microsoft Office suites
Good Relationship management skills and demonstrate the capacity to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Great attention to detail and good administrative skills
Bachelor’s degree in Sciences/Social Sciences or MBA with emphasis on Finance.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
