Responsibilities
In this role, you will be required to essentially do the following amongst other
- Carry out Research and Analysis based on assigned projects to create project personas, do market analysis, and engage in user research to better improve the user experience.
- Design and Prototyping.
- Carry out user testing and provide feedback.
- Collaborate and communicate properly with team members.
- Up to date with leading industry technologies and continuous learning.
Education
- At least an OND qualification
Experience:
Skills:
- Understanding of UX Principles: Knowledge of user-centered design principles, user research methods, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in Design Tools: Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Balsamiq.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize design concepts.
- Visual Design: A strong eye for visual composition, including understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles, to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- Interaction Design: Knowledge of how to craft interactive elements and animations that enhance the user experience.
- Responsive and Adaptive Design: Skills in designing interfaces that work well across different devices and screen sizes.
- User Research and Testing: Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
- Information Architecture: Understanding how to organize information clearly and logically on websites and apps to improve usability.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and users.
