Role Summary
The GBV case management Officer will support GBV response activities focused on lifesaving GBV response services to women and girls. This will be accomplished by Close monitoring, coaching, and providing mentors to partners on the appropriate GBV survivor-centred case management.
The Case Management Officer will participate in, and support partners' specific program components related to GBV case management, GBVIMS/GBVIMS+, referrals and follow-up of GBV Cases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all training on case management for case workers and community Volunteers
- Collate and compile all project work plans and share them with Sirri Care weekly.
- Conduct referral and protection mapping (any other assessments)
- Lead the formation and initial training of caregivers and foster parents
- Ensure meetings and activities are held monthly
- Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are maintained per agreed procedure, and information is provided on community activities as required.
- Facilitate mentoring and coaching of caseworkers on various topics, as outlined in the implementation plan.
- Maintain documentation and GBVIMS systems at the community/state office level: under the guidance of the MEAL Officer, Work with the Program Manager to ensure that all financial activities conducted in the field are properly documented in line with donor procedures and Sirri Care policies.
- Ensure all cases are efficiently managed with confidentiality.
- Participate and coordinate case conference meetings
- Daily supervision of all caseworkers.
- Ensure the quality of the inter-agency case management tools
- Report general protection issues present in the Community to the GBV ProgramManager
- Participate in assessments and analysis process
- In coordination with the GBV team, support regular participatory activities with different groups of women and girls to identify issues affecting Women and girls in project communities and assist them in developing appropriate responses.
- Must adhere to the child safeguarding and protection policies and reporting standards.
- Write and submit weekly activity reports.
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirement:
- Experience in facilitation and training in Gender Based Violence and case case management.
- Demonstrated a high level of conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
- Staff management skills and effective leadership
- Ability to maintain expected performance in diverse contexts, and potentially challenging environments with limited resources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and build relationships at all levels, considering cultural and language differences and sensitivities.
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English and local languages
- Effective report-writing skills
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office software, emails and the Internet,
