Main Functions



  • Identify new opportunities, seek partnerships and designs strategies to penetrate new markets. While promoting customer satisfaction and improving operational efficiency.

  • Develops and implements dynamic sales strategies, in consultation with the sales team, to enhance turnover, ensure profitability, and develop, protect and expand market shares.

  • To continually assess the efficiency of our sales operations, providing insight into areas that require strengthening to cope with market evolution as well as developing a framework of appropriate response from the company.

  • Develop partnerships that enhance the company's ability to fully utilize existing business opportunities and profile new ones.


Major Duties and Responsibilities



  • Coordinates tenders and bids on behalf of the company, while ensuring that the company meets the requirements for qualification including registration with key govt agencies such as NMDPRA, NUPRC, NCDMB, NIFEX, NNPC, NSITF, ITF, NIMASA, amongst others.

  • Implement processes aimed at developing growth opportunities for the company including accessing new markets, partners, clients and developing new products.

  • Writing business plans and proposals aimed at highlighting opportunities in target markets and outlining strategies to take advantage of those opportunities.

  • Analyzing market trends, researching competition, scheduling market assessments and discovery meetings with sales team and report findings to business units for development of appropriate strategies.

  • Sourcing leads for key company products and services such as petroleum products, gas, equipment, franchise amongst others and ensuring that such leads are converted to sales by the relevant business units.

  • Experiment with new and creative ways of generating leads including networking, attending events, exhibitions, social media engagement, cold calling, personal visits, online ads, print ads, social media ads, billboards amongst others.

  • Qualifying leads, nurturing relationships (both existing and potential clients) and updating sales CRM (customer relationship management) databases to improve prospects of turning leads into business.
