The objective of the Job



  • The Head HR Manager will lead and direct the implementation functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing staff, performance management, total reward, and leave administration, and implementing company policies and practices


Primary Duties & Responsibilities



  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the human resource department.

  • Works with line managers to Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to employees

  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

  • Job Analysis and research of all information needed for a job role and Job evaluation (job worth and market value)

  • understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future skill needs, retention, and succession planning.

  • Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future.

  • Provide KPA/ target to the employee through employee manager

  • Monitor, and review employee performance results with employee managers and document the performance outcome quarterly

  • Contribute expertise to the development and delivery of performance management and advice on training.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Social Sciences related field required.

  • MBA, M.Sc and, or professional certification locally or international

  • Management and leadership training

  • A minimum of Five (5) years’ work experience in the HR profession

  • Active affiliation with CIPM, CIPD or SHRM

  • Experience in cultural change, performance, and talent management.

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including knowledge of Excel and skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).


Skills:



  • Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of the

  • practices of the Human resources practices

  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal, written, and public speaking)

  • Organizational and manpower planning skills.

  • Good knowledge of HRIS and talent management system

  • Excellent knowledge of labour law and other employment law locally

  • Ability to always act professionally and hold strong confidentiality integrity

  • Great interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, and Relationship building skills

  • Market skill, to find talent in industries

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Target driven and excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Proven ability to coach and support employees effectively

  • Active decision-making skills.
