Job Summary

• We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment within our facility.


• This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues.


• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure equipment reliability.


• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.


• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.


• Calibrate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.


• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.


• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.


• Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.


• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a High school diploma or OND.


• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.


• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.


• Familiarity with hand and power tools, precision measurement instruments, and diagnostic equipment.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.


• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
