Description: 

Gain experience and exposure to practical engineering applications within the utility and renewable energy industry. Individual normally works under close supervision; performs a variety of projects that have specific instructions and expected results. 

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the lead Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineers.


• Work issues across multiple functions including mechanical, electrical, fabrication, assembly, and sales.


• Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well-defined standards and procedures


• Support the development and documentation of standard procedures, design standardization, and engineering change notices.


• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• HND/Bsc Electrical Engineering or completed course work in Electrical Power Systems Fundamentals, Electrical Power Systems Analysis, and other relevant courses related to electrical transmission and distribution.


• Strong problem solving skills, and the pragmatic application of  analytical skills.


• Proficient in computer applications; familiarity with engineering softwares is a plus.

• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
