Job Description

• The Autoclave Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining autoclave machines, which are used to clean and sterilize intravenous fluid.


• The Operator must ensure that the equipment is properly set up, operated, and maintained in accordance with applicable safety and GMP regulations. They must also monitor the sterilization process and make adjustments as needed.

Duties

• Prepare and monitor autoclave sterilization cycles


• Maintain and troubleshoot autoclave equipment


• Verify and document cycle results


• Ensure compliance with sterilization standards and regulations

Skills Required

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and operating instructions


• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of complex autoclaves


• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment


• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems


• Ability to document maintenance activities


• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
