The Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Executive to join our team.
- The Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and maximize ticket sales for our events.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment and a proven track record in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Flytime events, talent, and brand initiatives.
Campaign Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels such as digital, print, social media, and events.
- Assist in creating content for marketing including brochures, flyers, emails and social media posts.
- Brand Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the Flytime brand, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Digital Marketing:
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including the creation and scheduling of social media posts and campaigns, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing, to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation, analyzing web traffic and engagement links.
- Assist in managing the company’s presence on social media platforms and engaging with the audience to build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Event & Product Promotion:
- Assist in planning and organizing events such as promotional campaigns for Flytime events, concerts, festivals, and business initiatives to drive sales, attendance, and audience engagement.
- Develop creative marketing collateral, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate logistics, manage vendors, and ensure that events run smoothly to maximize brand exposure and audience engagement.
- Audience Engagement: Foster meaningful relationships with Flytime's audience and fan base through engaging content, interactive experiences, and community-building initiatives. Monitor and respond to audience feedback and inquiries across social media platforms and other channels.
Data Analysis and Performance Measurement:
- Utilize analytics tools and performance metrics to track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and insights to inform decision-making and future strategies for optimization and continuous improvement.
Cross- functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as sales and design to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed to execute marketing initiatives effectively.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing.
- Seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Responsible for a full spectrum of marketing activities, including those detailed above and any others deemed necessary for company’s success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing roles, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian entertainment industry is a plus.
