Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team.
- The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization, specifically for our e-commerce platform.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset to capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and prospecting activities.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our products or services as solutions to their challenges.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Conduct sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the value proposition of our products or services to potential clients.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements, to close deals and secure new business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and delivery of solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build industry connections and promote brand awareness.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3-4 years proven experience in same or similar role.
- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and overcome objections.
