About the Role

• We are seeking a talented and driven Design Communications Graphics Draftsman to join our dynamic


• team. This is a key role within our design process, responsible for bringing ideas to life through


• technical drawings, detailed renderings, and captivating presentations. You will be instrumental in


• driving the communication of design intent from initial sketches to photorealistic imagery, playing a


• vital role in the exploration and development of projects.

Responsibilities

Project Visualization:

• Craft engaging presentations showcasing massing options, spatial arrangements, and initial design concepts.


• Develop captivating presentations for interior design, incorporating mood boards, color palettes, and material selections.


• Create high-quality, photorealistic renderings using 3DMax to convey design details and materials.

Technical Documentation:

• Draft accurate and clear schematic drawings illustrating building layout, room functions, and circulation plans.


• Develop detailed masterplan drawings showcasing site planning, landscaping, infrastructure, and building placement.


• Prepare detailed architectural drawings with specifications, ensuring clarity and adherence to construction requirements.


• Generate construction-ready drawings for all building elements, complying with industry standards.


• Contribute to comprehensive design reports with drawings, specifications, and visualizations summarizing key decisions.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Collaborate with engineers, landscape architects, and other disciplines to ensure early integration and alignment of design intent.


• Work closely with diverse teams to coordinate detailed drawings and specifications across all project areas.


• Participate in the creation of detailed lighting and acoustic specifications, contributing visualizations and supporting documentation.

Continuous Learning:

• Maintain and update project libraries of standard details, symbols, and materials.


• Stay up-to-date on the latest design software and technologies, continuously seeking to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Design, Drafting, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Design Communications Graphics Draftsman or similar role in an architectural setting.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), 3DMax, SketchUp and other relevant design software.


• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction standards.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Creative problem-solving skills.


• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
