JOB OVERVIEW
As a Machine operator, your primary responsibility is to oversee, manage and maintain machinery within the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production specifications.
- Set up machines (e.g., calibrating, adjusting, programming) according to job requirements.
- Load raw materials into machines and ensure the continuous flow of materials throughout the production process.
- Perform regular inspections, installation and maintenance on machinery to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Making minor repairs to machinery and contacting vendors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Observing and following company safety rules and regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in machine operation or related field.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
