As the Business Development Manager, your main objective will be to maximize the potential of key accounts, fostering consistent and strong revenue growth.
A pivotal aspect of your role will involve coordinating and overseeing the Sales team, to achieve tangible results and elevate performance management across the board.
Key Responsibilities
Enhancing the performance of key accounts to achieve consistent revenue growth.
Coordinating and overseeing the Sales team to drive results and manage performance effectively.
Securing strategic partner accounts to support business expansion initiatives.
Establishing sales targets aligned with overall business objectives for the team.
Conducting trade visits for coaching and market insights a minimum of 8 times per month.
Developing and optimizing the distribution network to enhance Net Numeric Distribution.
Taking responsibility for trade investments to ensure desired business return on investment.
Delivering weekly performance presentations to Sales Managers or Management for informed decision-making.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc/BA) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
At least 6 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, with a preference for candidates with a strong understanding of Modern Trade, Distribution, and Open Market channels.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in team management.
Proficiency in data analysis and insights, with strong numerical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Proficiency in using MS Office suites for presentations and reporting purposes.
