Job Brief



  • The Growth and Strategy Manager will be responsible for shaping BCL’s long-term strategy and developing measures that will help realize its business objectives

  • To review BCL and determine its strengths, weaknesses, operational effectiveness and opportunities and make recommendations based on internal and external factors to minimize risks and formulate plans to achieve the organization's long-term goals

  • To assess organizational performance, develop achievable goals and implement processes that will improve organizational effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage.


Main Responsibilities

Strategic Management:



  • Drive projects that identify and explore new technologies and business models to extend BCL’s technology leadership and customer relevance, then lead the decision-making, execution and investments to make those opportunities a reality

  • Supporting the development of long-term organizational strategy.

  • Conducting research and analysis of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.

  • Aligning departmental goals, processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy.

  • Assessing market trends and competitors.

  • Identifying threats and opportunities.

  • Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions.

  • Planning, implementing and managing proposed recommendations and projects.

  • Monitoring and reporting on projects.

  • Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.


Sales:



  • To work closely with cross-functional partners such as Finance, Marketing and products to develop and advance various key initiatives

  • Leadership, recommending revenue acceleration, strategies, target setting and operational improvements for the global team


Customer Service:



  • To demonstrate a high aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving.

  • To exhibit integrity, excellent organizational and leadership abilities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Qualifications

Education:



  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field; preferably with an MBA.

  • 3-5 years of post-MBA experience in Business Administration, management consulting, corporate strategy function, or financial services

  • Must have a good working knowledge of the high-tech industry, with demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly in new areas.


Experience:



  • Must possess research and analytical mind to work on complex business issues with minimum supervision

  • Outstanding leadership, verbal & written communication, consensus building, project management and presentation skills to work with senior executives at all levels

  • Must be a strategic thinker with strong organisational problem-solving skills and people development

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate and manage relationships at all levels.
