About the role



  • We are currently seeking a reliable and diligent Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Bomowo Hotel.

  • The Housekeeping Attendant will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.


Responsibilities 



  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and other public areas.

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and shower areas, ensuring they are well-stocked with toiletries and supplies.

  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials in a hygienic and environmentally responsible manner.

  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to maintain a sparkling appearance throughout the hotel.

  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained, stored, and utilized according to safety guidelines.

  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing minor damages as needed.

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.

  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience and address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.

  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution.

  • Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items, ensuring they are properly documented and stored.

  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues, providing assistance and information as needed.

  • Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and staff.

  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay informed about hotel policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team to support the overall operation of the hotel.
