JOB SUMMARY



  • Develops growth strategies to boost revenue and customer satisfaction. Researches and implements initiatives targeted at new markets.

  • Prepares quotes and facilitates meetings with potential clients. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, maintains accurate records, and manages client engagement.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Develops growth strategies focused on business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Conducts research on new markets, develops plans, and implements initiatives to meet client needs.

  • Develops quotes and proposals for prospective clients.

  • Sets sales goals and develops plans for business and revenue growth.

  • Organizes meetings with prospective clients and captures accurate minutes.

  • Upsells company services to address clients’ needs.

  • Prepares engagement letters and sales contracts in adherence with company guidelines.

  • Collaborates with the account and event planning team to ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.

  • Maintains accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.

  • Provides after-sales support, receives client feedback, and communicates with account and event planning team.

  • Maintains records of potential clients and establishes productive relationships with them.

  • Researches industry trends and crafts initiatives to explore new opportunities.

  • Possesses strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.


WORK EXPERIENCE:



  • 3 - 5 years post-NYSC experience in business development.

  • Proven track record securing new business, upselling, and generating revenue as a business development executive.


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Proficiency in the use of virtual technology.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field from a reputable and accredited university.
