JOB PURPOSE


The Office Assistant/Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the office building and surroundings are properly cleaned.


 JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Floor care, various surface tasks including mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning of all office areas

  • Dusting and cleaning staff tables, chairs, and shelves

  • Removing trash in office areas

  • Cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms at least twice daily

  • Cleaning windows in conference rooms, management offices, etc.

  • Dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as needed

  • Maintaining office green areas and flowers

  • Reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks.


DUTIES APPLICABLE TO ALL STAFF



  • Actively work towards the achievement of the NRCS goals

  • Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross Fundamental Principles and NRCS Statutes

  • Show capacity to assist other members of staff and management, aptitude for maintaining cooperation and team spirit necessary to achieve the objectives of the National Society

  • Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Line Manager


Qualifications and Experience



  • Minimum of Secondary School or Diploma Certificate

  • Minimum of 3years’ experience in office assistance & cleaning role
