Job Description
The key responsibility of this role is for you to manage the development of small to large, solar PV projects including mini-grid from initial site assessments and study, and designs, through to the planning and delivery, and commissioning as well as performing routine maintenance of the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the business development and technical team to install PV inverters, commission new equipment, and enhance customer experience through quality service and professional conduct.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market, competitive, and customer research supported by interaction with customers and non-customers to identify emerging trends, consumer demands, and technologies.
- Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, and performance monitoring.
- Perform simulation of solar PV, forecast system performance, and energy production to optimize efficiency.
- Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
- Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
- Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
- Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
- Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
- Develop proposals and make presentations when required
- Influence Business strategic direction.
- Perform any other duty that maybe assigned to you by your line manager from time to time.
