• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commodity Trade Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of buying and selling of the commodities, managing local farmers, understanding and managing international trading partners.


• He/she must have a strong background in commodity trading, logistics, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of our commodity trading operations, including trade execution, logistics, and risk management


• Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risk


• Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential opportunities and risks


• Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders in the commodity trading industry


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards


• Supervise a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support as needed


• Analyze and report on key performance indicators to senior management


• Identifying new business opportunities to expand the trading portfolio. They evaluate new markets, commodities, or products to capitalize on emerging trends.


• Compliance and regulatory adherence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including reporting obligations and transactional transparency


• Continuous learning, professional development and stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• 5years of experience in commodity trading, logistics or related field


• Strong knowledge of commodity markets, trading strategies, and risk management techniques


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
