JOB DESCRIPTION
The position performs senior-level paraprofessional clerical and administrative support to the departments' Area Special Project Manager and Facility Managers. Tasks require seasoned independent analysis and judgment and extensive clerical or secretarial experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares documents, reports, charts, and graphs; Maintains and updates calendars; Schedules and coordinates meetings.
- Manage office operations including equipment function and maintenance, supplies, administration, and filling.
- Screens telephone calls and visitors and resolves routine and some complex inquiries.
- May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the Temple Facilities Management group regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, and operations.
- Works with highly sensitive and confidential information
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- HND Secretaryship & Management Studies; bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of both education and experience.
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Highly efficient with computerized business applications, good research, analytical, and data summation skills
- Ability to work with sensitive and highly confidential information.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.
- Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license.
