Responsibilities
- Create, improve and maintain client and SJ website content with the goal of achieving business goals
- Develop Social media content ideas for internal and external clients
- Maintain content marketing calendar ensuring timelines for content creation and deployment are strictly followed by implementers
- Draft press releases
- Circulate press releases to the necessary media outlets when necessary
- Develop and implement brand guidelines
- Create client pitch decks for teams
- Collaborate with the teams to assess project needs and help with messaging
- Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards
- Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites/press releases/publications to compare activities with your clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Copywriting, Editing and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent press release writing skills
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in content writing or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or Public Relations from a well accredited university.
