Job Description: As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our retail store. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, optimizing sales performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service.


Job Functions/Responsibilities



  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff to ensure efficient operation of the store.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including training, coaching, and performance management.

  • Monitor inventory levels, order merchandise, and manage stock rotation to minimize shrinkage and maximize profitability.

  • Ensure the store's visual merchandising standards are maintained to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience.

  • Assist in handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Prepare and analyze sales and performance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating retail staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company standards.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the store manager.


Requirements/Qualifications



  • HND in Business Administration or related field (B.Sc. / BA in Business Administration or relevant field preferred)

  • 4 years of experience working in a retail environment (minimum, more preferred)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of retail management best practices

  • Outstanding organizing and leadership skills

  • Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles

  • Excellent knowledge of retail management software
