Job Summary:

The Boiler operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining boilers, water sampling and treatment systems, pipe repairs, and carrying out preventive maintenance. S/he will be required to work with the maintenance crew to complete all required repairs and maintenance for his assigned machinery.



Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety related to the boiler and associated operation


• Adhere to legal requirements and meetings related to boiler operation


• Daily operations are carried out


• Daily checklist and log book are maintained


• Operation and maintenance of boiler and associated auxiliary systems like WTTP/ SOFTENERS


• Troubleshooting and ensuring boilers are available for operation at all times


• Updating documents as per company requirement


• Ensure boiler performance is tracked

Requirements

• OND in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related discipline


• 3-5 years of experience as a boiler operator in the manufacturing industry


• Strong knowledge of high-speed machinery


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to follow oral and written instructions


• Strong attention to detail
