Job Description

• We are looking for a competent and confident legal professional to join its growing team as a Senior Associate.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating contracts


• Advising on business structuring, mergers, and acquisitions as well as due diligence


• Advising on the wide spectrum of commercial law activities including competition, intellectual property, company formation, MSME support, local market entry, etc.


• Demonstrating good knowledge of the Nigerian Capital Market and applying this knowledge by generating beneficial ideas for clients and thinking strategically around the capital needs of clients.


• Building and managing client relationships on a day-to-day basis


• Delivering presentations and advice to clients


• Representing the firm in different professional fora.

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Law.


• Possession of a postgraduate qualification (i.e., LLM) is an added advantage.


• Minimum of 8 years post-call with cognate experience in the described areas of practice
