• Provides an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth in Interior Decorating


• Evaluates the needs and abilities of students and determines methods and techniques to best present and provide instruction to students within assigned subject areas; ensures students show continuous improvement in learning basics and essential skills


• Creating an engaging and rigorous curriculum that makes connection to important concepts and ideas within the Interior design industry


• Embraces technology and looks for purposeful ways to engage students while learning


• Individualize instruction to help each student scholar achieve curricular objectives


• Track and assess student academic progress and attendance in the School


• Generate informal and formal reports regarding student performance and progress


• Provide an inviting, exciting, innovative, challenging, and conducive learning environment


• Engage in effective and appropriate classroom management


• Provide students with regular feedback regarding student performance and progress


• Provide students with regular feedback regarding student performance and progress


• Collaborate with colleagues to establish a professional learning community


• Mentor the students throughout their course


• Assume other roles such as coach, advisor or tutor

Qualifications

• BSC/HND in Architecture or other related field


• At least 2 years experience in facilitating in Interior Design school


• Familiar with the use of Auto Cad, Vray, Sketch up, Photoshop and space planning
