Job Purpose



  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring that expenses are within budget and revenue targets are met.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the designated area.


Roles and Responsibilities



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers , including livestock and poultry farmers, distributors, and dealers.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify areas for growth and develop new products and services to meet those needs.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities that support sales objectives.

  • Monitor sales performance, analyse sales data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform business decisions and stay ahead of the competition

  • Training of distributors and farmers on product knowledge and management from time to time with the focus on FIFO and feed expiration management.

  • Ensure constant report on sales results

  • Adherence to company safety requirement

  • Ensure the success of all marketing programs


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field.

  • Additional certifications or courses in Sales Management or poultry farming can be advantageous.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the sales of poultryfeed industry. Experience in managing sales budgets and achieving revenue targets is essential.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies to achieve targets. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and dealers.
