Position Overview:



  • We are looking for a skilled and proactive Company/Business Lawyer to provide legal advice and support across various business operations.

  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and contributing to the overall success of our company.


Responsibilities:


Legal Counsel:



  • Provide legal advice and guidance to management and various departments on business-related matters.

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

  • Ensure that the company's policies and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations.


Corporate Governance:



  • Oversee corporate governance and compliance matters.

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate documents and reports.

  • Provide support in board meetings and ensure adherence to legal requirements.


Risk Management:



  • Identify legal risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.

  • Conduct legal research and stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.


Dispute Resolution:



  • Handle legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.

  • Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.


Contract Management:



  • Maintain a centralized contract management system.

  • Advise on contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.


Qualifications:



  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law.

  • Proven experience as a Company/Business Lawyer, preferably in a corporate setting.

  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and business regulations.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


Experience:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law in a corporate environment.
