Summary



  • The Business Development Manager will drive sales and expand the market presence for Kaeser air compressors. He/she should have a strong background in technical sales, a deep understanding of industrial air compressor systems, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • As the BDM for Kaeser Air Compressor, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and promoting Kaeser products and services to prospective customer.


Responsibilities



  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and expand the customer base for Kaeser and Mobil air compressors.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in target industries, including manufacturing, construction, automotive, and more.

  • Understand clients' business requirements and challenges, and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs and improve operational efficiency.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and utilize insights to develop effective sales strategies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert consultation on Kaeser air compressor products, applications, and solutions.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions for clients to showcase Kaeser products and demonstrate their value proposition.

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client requirements.

  • Provide input and feedback to product management and marketing teams on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform product development and marketing strategies.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or technical certification is a plus.

  • 7-8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the industrial equipment or machinery industry, with a focus on air compressors or related products.

  • Strong understanding of compressed air systems, including compressor technologies, controls, and applications.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales and productivity tools
