Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the senior manager in day to day operational, administrative and executive matters.
- Assist Manager in Scheduling & bookings planning and monitoring
- Assist the head office with compliance related issues.
- Compile all vessel log reports and expenses.
- Update and reconcile all activity reports and submit them to the senior manager within a specified period
- compile all maintenance, repair and work-in progress reports from the supervisor to assist the Manager
- Ensuring synergy between field operations and the administrative office.
- Handle some supplier appraisal, procurement and vendor negotiations based on company resource and data bank
- Liaise with crew members to ensure they are motivated and get the job done efficiently.
- Maintain a Product, procurement and equipment parts library for easy and speedy access
- Process requisitions of maintenance and repairs.
- Organise company folders and documentation in a seamless manner, both physically and digitally.
- Co-ordinate the purchase of office supplies and equipment.
- Create compliances budgets & plans based on industry ( NIWA, NIMASA, NPA)
- Ensure Vessel & compliance are up to date by monitoring and informing management as necessary.
- Prepare the end of the year budget/Gifting for crew, clients and office staff.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain or logistics or similar
- Minimum 2/3 years experience in logistics field
- Knowledge of Modern Digital Tools
- Project management skills
- Willing to travel Interstate
