Job Description



Duties



  • Ensure an effective and reliable network (across the school and all residential areas for students and residential staff)

  • Support teachers in a flawless A-Z utilization experience

  • Ensure optimum utilization of the Curriculum Trak application

  • Ensure optimum utility of the Sage application.

  • Develop and manage the IT operational budget, workflow and inventory

  • Devise proactive application for managing:

  • CCTV cameras

  • School bell systems

  • Oversee the management of all school computer hardware

  • Provide IT support to the media team and in running of the school website

  • Compile monthly report on responsibilities/activities carried and make recommendations and suggestions.

  • Perform other tasks assigned to you


Training and Support:



  • Provide training sessions for educators on the effective use of classroom technology.

  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to teachers encountering issues with technology tools.

  • Collect feedback from educators to identify areas for improvement or additional training.


Inventory Management:



  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all classroom technology tools.

  • Implement a tracking system to monitor the lifecycle of devices and plan for replacements or upgrades as needed.

  • Collaborate with the accounts office to ensure timely acquisition of new technology tools.

  • Maintain top notch technology tools in the classroom (Projectors, Interactive Boards, etc)

  • Analyze resource utilization and identify areas for optimization.

  • Keep database updated of all resources

  • Evaluate the need for upgrades or enhancements to existing technology tools and provide various analytics and possible reports.

  • Supervision

  • Train and oversee the IT officer, ensuring completion of targets.

  • In collaboration with the IT Innovations Development Coordinator:

  • Manage the school’s fiber and internet applications

  • Research and develop the school’s intranet

  • Manage the school’s active directory on the server.


Requirements



  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology ore related areas.

  • Publicly profess belief in Jesus Christ and have a lifestyle that reflects maturity and intimacy with God.

  • Has an authentic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as evidenced by a strong, clear personal testimony, leading others into their own personal encounters with God

  • Proven experience in IT operations management.

  • Strong knowledge of IT processes, incident management, and resource optimization.

  • Familiarity with proactive monitoring tools and systems.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Problem-solving mind set and a commitment to continuous improvement
