Job Description




  • The role ensures that South-South/South-East branches adhere to the Company’s rules and regulations and are equally encouraged to be the CEOs of their respective units; particularly where immediate decision has to be made without jeopardizing the company’s interest and reputation.

  • You will influence the development of the Sales strategy, so an understanding of the complete sales circle with proven experience is needed. You are the accountable executive responsible for managing the Brokers and business alignment relationship and youre empowered for the execution of the business sales management strategy for bottom-line profitability.


Dimensions of the job include:



  • Overall productivity in all South South/South East Branches.

  • Drive excellence in units/branches concerning business development strategies and goal attainment.

  • Follow up on sales drive to ensure branch budgets are vigorously pursued and achieved.

  • Constantly interact with units through meetings and phone calls to ensure their well-being and corporate growth whilst businesses are done with minimum cost.

  • Ensure prompt service delivery to all stakeholders, that encourages great customer experiences and operational efficiencies.

  • Drive retail sales via broker channels.

  • Drive Digital adoption of processes with our intermediaries.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University (Business Related preferred)

  • Master’s Degree in added advantage.

  • 7+ years’ work experience, 5 of which must be in an associate-level role in a banking, insurance, or fin-tech sector.

  • A professional qualification of ACIIN or any other recognized related qualifications.

  • Exposure to digital business models like e-commerce, B2B, and B2C marketplaces is desirable.

  • Must have hands-on Sales and practical experience in relationship management in a corporate organization

  • Strong experience in consumer-facing product management and design thinking

  • Financial industry experience preferred but open if relevant to digital and non-digital sales goals

  • Demonstrated actual practice in providing practical solutions to peoples problems

  • A proven knowledge of all aspects of Life Business and the ability to engage and build meaningful relationships
