About the Role



  • The procurement Lead is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, optimizing procurement processes and ensuring cost- effective and efficient procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality compliance standards.

  • Drive cost reduction initiative without compromising quality of service delivery.

  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, update supplier information, negotiate contracts and ensure favorable terms and conditions. continuously access Vendor performance and take corrective measures when necessary.

  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods, finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers.

  • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies

  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

  • Reconcile all orders from purchase to delivery information

  • Coordinate your team to procure and deliver all orders on time.

  • Prepare reports on purchase and delivery for the week

  • Preparing documentation and reports on process and procedures


Requirements



  • 1-3 years proven experience in procurement ,with a track record of progressive responsibility and leadership roles

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, supply chain management, or related field.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

  • In Depth knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance standards and market trends.

  • Experience in supplier relationship management and vendor performance evaluation.

  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to details and strong organizational skills.
