Job Description

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front End Development Instructor to join our team. As a Front End Development Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring web developers by imparting your expertise and knowledge. You will inspire, educate, and mentor students to become proficient front-end developers.

Job Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Develop and update curriculum for front end development courses, ensuring it remains up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.


• Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, hands-on workshops, and assignments to students, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and other relevant topics.


• Mentorship: Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and improve their skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Web Development, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).


• Proven professional experience as a Front End Developer.


• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.


• Passion for learning and a desire to help others succeed in the tech industry.


• Patience and empathy for students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.


• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.


• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.


• Knowledge of configuration management as well as practical client-side building


• Excellent knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Mercuria SVN, and Git


• Ability to use essential graphical tools, such as Photoshop and GIMP, to make changes to visuals


• Excellent knowledge of cross-browser compatibility


• Good understanding of partial page updates, AJAX, and asynchronous request handling


• Knowledge of SEO principles leading to application adherence


• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work independently and with members of a dedicated team
