Job Summary

• As a Cashier at Mattoris Supermarket, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling payments, and providing top-notch customer service.


• We are looking for a female candidate residing within the Lagos Island, Ikoyi and Obalende areas who is committed to delivering exceptional service and contributing to our customers' satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide assistance, and answer inquiries about products, prices, and promotions in a friendly and professional manner.


• Cash Handling: Accurately processes sales transactions, including cash, Transfer, and electronic payments. Ensure the correct amount is received and returned.


• Point-of-Sale (POS) Operation: Operate the POS system efficiently, including scanning products, applying discounts, and processing refunds or exchanges.


• Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring product quantities, report shortages or damaged items, and help maintain organized displays.


• Bagging: Carefully and efficiently bag customers' purchases, ensuring the safe handling of fragile items.


• Cash Reconciliation: Conduct daily cash reconciliation, balance the cash drawer, and prepare accurate reports for management.


• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area and checkout counters clean and well-organized at all times.
