Job Details

• Assist in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Provide support in organizing and delivering HSE training programs for employees.


• Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.


• Participate in emergency response drills and assist in developing emergency response plans.


• Support the maintenance of HSE records and documentation.


• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance HSE knowledge and skills.


• Maximum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a glass processing company.


• Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.


• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a positive safety culture.


• Proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing safety concerns.


• B.Sc./ HND in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related course.


• Occupational Health & Safety qualification (HSE level 3) is an added advantage.


• NEBOSH Certificate, Membership of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria ISPON will be a plus.
